Texas Apache
"Pache" is a 1996 homozygous gray and white tobiano (on the right), that also carries the dun factor. He is a well mannered and intelligent horse. He is very easy to handle, and very nice to ride. We pulled him out the pasture the other day and used him to gather mares. He had not been ridden for quite some time and he rode off like he did it everyday! All of his colts have his good disposition, big hips and shoulders, not to mention all that color. He is 94% foundation by the Paint Foundation Breeders. His grandsire, Bandits Banner, is a half brother to the first registered paint horse with APHA, and an APHA champion with a ROM in cutting. Not only is Pache foundation bred on the paint side, but his AQHA bloodlines read like a legends book with Bert, Three Bars, King, Peppy, Leo, Jessie James and Oklahoma Star.
